Your journal.
Your story.
Shared with love.
One prompt a day, answered by everyone in your journal. Nobody reads a word until you all have written — so what you get is everyone's honest answer, not everyone's second draft.
A journaling app, free to keep on your own.
One email, on the day Pebbii launches. Nothing else.
Want it early? We're running a small early-access group before launch.
You're on the early-access list. We'll send the invite before everyone else gets it.
One prompt a day
A question worth answering arrives each morning. No blank page to stare at.
Held until everyone's written
Answers stay private until everyone has written or skipped the day, then they open at once.
Photos and places
Attach a photo and where you were. It sits beside the writing, not on top of it.
Your week, gathered
Entries, words, places and your streak, counted for free. Premium writes the week up.
How Pebbii works
Three steps, and then it looks after itself.
Start a journal
Keep it to yourself, or invite a partner, your family or your friends.
Answer today's prompt
A few lines is plenty. Add a photo or the place you were, if it matters.
Read it together
Once everyone has written, the day opens. Then it stays in your timeline for good.
Everyone's honest answer, not everyone's second draft.
Pebbii holds every answer to the day's prompt back until everyone in the journal has written theirs or skipped the day. You write what you actually thought, because you cannot see what anyone else said yet.
A dashed row is the app's way of saying "still waiting" — never a red badge. When someone writes theirs, anyone still to answer gets one reminder that day, and only if they have notifications on.
A journal for whoever it's for
Keep several at once — a couples journal with your partner, a family journal with your parents, one just for you.
Personal
Just you and the day.
Couples
Two answers, revealed at once.
Family
Across houses and time zones.
Friends
The group chat, but worth keeping.
Free, and generous about it
Everything you need to keep a journal and share it with someone. No advertising cookies, no tracking, and your entry text encrypted before it is stored.
A prompt every morning
One question a day, waiting for you. Nothing to think up first.
Journals of any kind
Personal, couples, family or friends — as many as you like.
Share it with someone
Bring one other person into a journal, free.
The reveal
Nobody reads a word until everyone has written or skipped the day.
Joining is always free
An invite code or a QR is all it takes to join someone.
Photos and places
A photo and where you were, attached to the day.
Your figures
Streak, entries and words for every week, month and year.
Locked and yours
Passcode and Face ID, sync, backup and a plain export of everything.
What you write stays yours.
A journal only works if you trust it. Pebbii is a UK company, the policy is written to UK GDPR, and the whole of it is worth two minutes of your time.
Read our privacy policyEncrypted before it is stored
Entry text, names, emails and locations are encrypted with AES-256-GCM at rest, and TLS in transit.
No ads, no tracking SDKs
No advertising cookies, no behavioural profiles and no tracking across other companies' apps. Beyond what the app needs to run, crash reports are the only thing collected automatically, and your data is never sold.
Prompts are never written from your entries
Premium prompts are written from your journal's settings and its recent prompts, not what you wrote. Summaries use short excerpts and can be switched off; rewrite sends only the entry you choose.
Yours to take or delete
Export or delete everything from your account settings, any time.
Questions people ask
Who can read what I write?
Only the members of that journal. Answers to the day's prompt open once everyone has written or skipped, and you see theirs only after writing yours. A personal journal is read by nobody but you.
What if someone never answers?
The day stays held, shown as a dashed waiting row, until they write or skip it. They get one reminder that day, never a stream of them.
Can I keep a journal on my own?
Yes, and it is free. Sharing one with another person is free too — the third member is the part Premium pays for.
Do I need signal to write?
No. Entries are written to your phone first and sync when you are back online.
How do I invite someone?
Share a six-character code or a QR code. They install Pebbii, tap Join a Journal and enter it.
Start tonight, and have a year of it by next September.
